Issuance of visas has been suspended by France until further notice.
Due to the current situation regarding the spread of the coronavirus, France has decided to suspend the issuance of visas until further notice. All visa types are affected : short stay Schengen visas, long stay visas to France, visas to overseas
territories. This suspension also applies to visa applications for which an appointment has already been made.
Furthermore, French President Emmanuel Macron has announced Europe’s borders will close for the next 30 days.
This means all trips between non-European countries and the EU and the Schengen zone will be suspended for 30 days. Foreign nationals who have no compelling reason to travel to Europe and France will be refused entry. This measure will be strictly
implemented. Any exceptions will only apply to those who live in France and have a residence permit.
The submission of new visa applications is suspended at Capago centers until further notice. Passports and documents can still be retrieved for travelers who submitted a request before this decision was made. One of our agents will contact you
to arrange this.
All appointments before the 1st of April have been cancelled. If you already prepaid for your application you can either submit a refund request or you will be able to re-book an appointment as soon as we're open. We will call you in priority
when we receive the instruction that applications can be submitted again.
We will maintain all our written communication channels open during the Covid crisi. However in order to protect our team, to allow for remote work and to guarantee continuity of service we will stop replying on our phone numbers after Friday
the 20th of march.
You can fill in the form below should you wish to be kept updated by mail or by phone about the borders and visa application center reopening.
